Ashford Park is a pedestrian-friendly Brookhaven neighborhood located North of Dresden Drive, Southeast of Peachtree Rd, & West of Clairmont Rd.

The homes were originally built in the 1950’s and housed military personnel who worked at the base that was where Peachtree-DeKalb Airport (PDK) is now located.

These homes were originally built with 2 or 3 bedrooms & 1, 1.5, or even 2 full baths for the most part. You can buy older, less renovated homes from the mid to high 200’s, and they generally go up to the mid to high 400’s for remodeled, renovated, or expanded homes.

Over the last several years, builders have been purchasing the homes that have not been modified over time, tearing them down, and building brand new homes loaded with detail and square footage that range in price from the high 500’s up to 1.5 million.

Located within the neighborhood is Ashford Park Elementary School. This diverse school, with newer principal, Toni Fallon is getting better and better each year and consistently improving upon their test scores. There is also an actual Ashford Park that has 2 tennis courts, playground space, and newly constructed/completed clubhouse built in 2008. All of these things make this area one of the most desirable in-town communities out there today.
